I recently attended the 8th annual Nairobi Fashion Week and had an incredible time experiencing the designs on display. Nairobi is quickly emerging as a leading voice in the decarbonization movement of fashion across Africa. This year’s show highlighted primarily Kenyan designers, alongside creatives from Nigeria, France, and Ethiopia.

Here are all 12 designers at the show.


1. Naaniya

If I had to guess the crowd favorite of the night, it’d be Wanni Fuga. She is a Nigerian brand from Lagos known for bold, expressive designs that command the room.
