Of the 80+ countries I’ve visited, I’ve taken more than 35 solo journeys, most often across Europe and South America, where it’s easy to move between cities and meet other travelers. My first solo trip was to South Korea. In many ways, it’s my preferred way of travel. It makes you in charge of all the decisions – no compromising, but also doing all the work…and also open to people you might otherwise never meet.
